The Nightmare Shackle is an Absolute, resembling a network of chains.

Design

In its inactive state, the Nightmare Shackle presents as a smooth, cubical black stone, displaying a ferrous appearance with a green sheen. Upon activation, the device undergoes a rapid transformation process during which a series of chains emerge from the structure. These chains may deploy in random directions unless a target has been designated.

Characteristics

The Nightmare Shackle exhibits the capacity to bind and restrain any targeted entity with no exception. During the targeting sequence, the chains emit a green luminescent glow along their length. Once attached, the chains demonstrate near-absolute binding integrity. Any attempt by the restrained entity to escape results in the redirection of exerted energy back into the chains. If any chain is damaged or broken, it will reform and reattempt attachment.
