The Blue Rose was an Absolute, resembling a double-barrelled revolver.

Design

The Blue Rose is structurally similar to the Smith & Wesson Model 500, though extensively modified for specialised use. It possessed two vertically stacked, hexagonal-profile barrels, each fitted with six compensator ports, allowing simultaneous discharge with mitigated recoil and improved muzzle stability. Unlike the standard five-round configuration of its progenitor, the Blue Rose features a six-shot cylinder, supported by an omni-directional crane and cylinder release tab, facilitating ambidextrous handling.

In addition to traditional cylinder reloading, the weapon includes an auxiliary breech-load function. The revolver is constructed from a silvery, unidentified alloy. Blue accenting along the frame, sights, and internal lighting elements gives the weapon its name. Advanced, precision-calibrated iron sights make the Blue Rose exceptionally accurate, surpassing typical ballistic expectations for revolvers of similar size and calibre.

Characteristics

The Blue Rose is capable of firing two rounds per trigger pull, for a total of three dual-shots per reload cycle. The weapon’s force output is sufficient to sever wrist tendons under prolonged human use. A direct hit is reportedly capable of instantaneous decapitation or destruction of reinforced materials.

The Blue Rose is believed to have utilised custom-forged silver rounds, distinct from standard lead projectiles, though their exact composition remains unverified. These rounds were engineered to interface with the revolver’s innate properties, though the weapon itself, not the ammunition, is believed to possess the anomalous traits. The Blue Rose demonstrated heightened effectiveness against Devils, inflicting disproportionate damage. Notably, successful strikes from the weapon have been observed to permanently disable the regenerative capabilities of affected Devils in the impacted area.

Status

The Blue Rose is classified as inactive. The prevailing theory posits that the revolver was ultimately absorbed or integrated into the structure of 0x7468652052656420517565656e, following her confirmed encounter with the weapon.
