The Hunt was a catastrophic, extinction-level event.

Chronology

The Hunt unfolded over the course of 24 hours, during which a rapid sequence of anomalous phenomena caused global infrastructure failure, mass casualties, and irreversible damage to the biosphere. The incident is bifurcated into multiple overlapping crises, each contributing to the overall severity of the event.

Effects

The Earth’s magnetosphere ceased functioning, resulting in the failure of all magnetically guided navigational instruments (e.g., compasses) and the destruction of unshielded electronics worldwide. Extreme tidal fluctuations triggered massive tsunamis, widespread flooding, and intense superstorms along coastlines and lowland regions. A global temperature drop of 1°C was recorded, contributing to environmental destabilisation and widespread floral disruption. A Chalk precipitation event commenced. This led to severe, respiratory asphyxiation, plant failure and infrastructure collapse under accumulated toxic particulates.

The Hunt is marked by the largest recorded intrusion HERE, with a rapid emergence of multiple Allokaryota species, primarily Devils. During this period, the Chromatican City manifested physically HERE.

Contrary to initial theories positing nebulous obstruction, it was confirmed that the Sun, stars, and all known planetary and celestial bodies and phenomena. Outer space is now described as a complete vacuum, devoid of observable matter or radiation. Empirical evidence indicates a disruption in the flow of time during the Hunt. Reports include subjective time gaps, memory loss, inconsistencies between objective and subjective temporal measurements, and apparent non-linearity of temporal progression during the incident itself.
