A Ghost House is a type of anomalous structure sporadically encountered within the FLIPSIDE, appearing in both the Proximal and Distal Rings.

Exterior

Ghost Houses typically manifest as large residential-style buildings, constructed from either wood or brick. They often feature multiple floors and an expansive floor plan, consistent with that of a sizable domestic dwelling. Externally, they are distinguished by the absence of standard entrances, as Ghost Houses possess no doors or windows. Despite this, minor or indirect openings may exist. The most common means of entry include external ventilation shafts or access points beneath floorboards. In rare instances, chimneys or similar structural anomalies may provide limited access to the interior.

Interior

The interior of a Ghost House resembles a fully furnished living space, containing rooms and domestic features typical of habitation. However, the arrangement of rooms, corridors, and access routes is frequently illogical, resulting in an environment that is difficult to navigate and lacks coherent spatial planning. Utilities such as running water, electrical systems, and occasionally gas lines may be present and partially functional. Nevertheless, a majority of the interior is always in complete darkness.
