Wolf Tags are a standardised form of personal identification employed by Ultraviolet Operators, functioning both as physical ID and limited-access data storage devices. The system is modelled on conventional military dog tags, with the addition of modern technological and accessibility enhancements.

Design

Each tag is ellipsoidal in shape, measuring approximately 5 cm in length and 3 cm in width. The tag is double-sided, with the following information engraved on the front in standard Latin script and mirrored on the reverse in Unified International Braille:

  1. Surname
  2. Given Name
  3. Species // Subspecies
  4. Signature
  5. Status or Rank

Integrated Technology

Embedded within each Wolf Tag is a passive smart chip capable of storing data. When scanned by specialised readers, the tag grants access to the Operator’s Extended File, which includes a full profile, operational history, medical data, and ability records. The tag’s chip is updated manually and intermittently by the Executive. In instances where a tag has not been synchronised for an extended period, data conflicts may occur between the tag and the master file.

Usage

All Operators are mandated to carry their Wolf Tag at all times during deployments. Tags and associated Extended Files may be requested for inspection by anyone.
